The NotcHead Story
NotcHead Fasteners are products from the designs of Divers Street Rods Inc. who are renowned in the hot rod industry for building "over-the-top" custom cars. They are best known for the 2008 Ridler Award winner, the "Ferrambo"; A '60 American Rambler combined with a '02 Ferrari 360 Modena power plant and technology.
Final judging for the Ridler Award comes down to four consecutive days, 24 hours a day of constant critiquing by seven judges. The crew at Divers Street Rods knew plain hardware store bolts wouldn't cut it at this level of competition... NotcHead was born. Well, they didn't call it that yet, but the fantastic mirror finish and seven-notched head can be seen on every bolt throughout this historic vehicle.

The company was started by Divers Street Rods after they built the "Ferrambo" - the winner of the 2008 Ridler Award at the Detroit Autorama. Revolutionary new bolts were all over this historic vehicle and they drew a lot of attention. After encouragement from one of our customers, we started producing them for the public.
NotcHead was born and we had our debut at SEMA 2012 down in Las Vegas, NV to show off our new products: a unique bolt design and a hand-held tool for gripping bolts while you polish them. It is important to us to make the best quality products for our customers. That is why we manufacture most of our products in-house, in a tiny shop, in a small city located about an hour northeast of Seattle.
